Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech โ€“ High Atlas โ€“ Ait Benhaddou Kasbah โ€“ Ouarzazate โ€“ Dades Valley

Our journey begins after breakfast, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass, offering panoramic views. We'll then travel south to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its stunning architecture and as a filming location for movies like Gladiator and The Mummy.

After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the 'city of Cinema' and home to a large solar power station. The name Ouarzazate means 'no noise'. We will also visit the Kasbah of the Glaoui, the former Pasha of Marrakech.

Our day concludes as we arrive in the Dades Gorges, where we will settle in for the night.

Day 2: Dades Valley โ€“ Todra Gorges โ€“ Merzouga โ€“ Camel Trek and Overnight in Berber Camp

After breakfast, we head towards the desert. Our adventure today will introduce us to the desert climate and different local traditions. We will visit the impressive Todra Gorges and then move on to Tinjdad village, where you can shop for traditional items.

We will pass through Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and date market. Finally, we reach Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the desert.

Here, you will embark on a camel trek to witness the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in an equipped Berber camp, enjoying traditional drum music under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert โ€“ Draa Valley โ€“ Anti Atlas Mountains โ€“ Ouarzazate to Marrakech

We wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise over the desert, then ride our camels back to Merzouga for breakfast. Today, we travel through small villages and Berber shops, with a stop in Zagora for lunch and exploration.

We will drive past Ouarzazate, the city of cinema, and have another chance to see the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will also see the Kasbah of the Glaoui.

Finally, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N'Tichka pass to return to Marrakech, where the tour ends.

If I could rate this company with 20 stars that would not be enough!!! From the moment we arrived they treated us with so much respect and you can tell they take pride in the service they provide. Hamid my expert driver and friend was nothing short of extraordinary. His attention to detail and character blew me away. I found myself getting emotional any time he would go above and beyond to ensure my comfortability. Hamid I cannot thank you enough, you my friend are something special. To your boss Hassan, thank you for pairing me with this talented young man. We will be back God willing in July but ONLY if Hamid will accommodate us. I will name my son after him - The real Fatimah

Spectacular experience 100% recommended

The service of our guide Hassan has been excellent. At all times we have felt accompanied by him, feeling him as a friend who has made the journey with us and who has transmitted to us the passion for his work, his country, his people and especially his Berber culture.
