Day 1: Arrival in Tangier, Chefchaouen, and Fez
Your Moroccan adventure begins at the Tangier port, where your guide will meet you and accompany you to the bus. Travel to Chefchaouen, the famed "Blue City," historically a secret Andalusian outpost.
Explore its charming streets with a local guide and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Continue the journey through Ouazane, stopping at picturesque Berber villages along the way.
Arrive in Fez and check in at the luxurious Hotel Fes Heritage Boutique 4*. Dinner and overnight stay in Fez.
Day 2: Full-Day Tour of Fez
After breakfast, a local guide will take you through Fez, Morocco''s religious and cultural capital. Highlights include the medieval medina, Al Karaouine University (the oldest university in the world), and the royal palaces of Dar al-Makhzen.
Witness the iconic leather tanneries and wander the narrow, atmospheric souks. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by free time to explore more of Fez''s historic streets.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Fez to the Sahara Desert via Ifrane and Azrou
Depart Fez after breakfast for a scenic journey to the Sahara Desert. Stop in Ifrane, known as the "Swiss of Morocco," with its European-style architecture, parks, lakes, and ski resorts.
Visit Azrou to admire Atlas cedar forests and feed the friendly wild monkeys. Lunch in Midelt. Continue through the stunning Ziz Valley before reaching the desert.
Enjoy a 4x4 ride among the dunes and watch a magical desert sunset. Overnight in a luxury desert camp with dinner and a Berber music and storytelling session by the campfire.
Day 4: Sahara Desert Exploration & Berber Culture
Begin the day with sunrise meditation and breakfast. Embark on a 4x4 tour exploring the nomadic routes of the Sahara. Visit a Berber family camp, learning traditional crafts, cooking, and daily life.
Discover the Khamlia tribe, descendants of freed Sub-Saharan slaves, known for their music and dance. Optional quad or buggy rides available (not included).
Enjoy an authentic Berber lunch at the guide''s home and return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Merzouga to Rissani, Erfoud, and Midelt
After breakfast, head to Rissani and explore its vibrant local souk, a hub for agricultural and artisanal goods.
Continue to Erfoud, known as the "Capital of Fossils," with ancient history and Berber-Arab cultural heritage. Learn about its fossil industry and traditional crafts.
Overnight in Midelt at Hotel Taddart with dinner.
Day 6: Midelt to Meknes
Depart for Meknes, one of Morocco''s four imperial cities, founded in the 11th century. Explore the city''s historical monuments, including the royal palaces, grand gates, and the Mausoleum of Sultan Mulay Ismail.
Enjoy lunch and guided sightseeing, then check in at Z Hotel 4*. Dinner and overnight in Meknes.
Day 7: Meknes to Tangier via Volubilis
Travel from Meknes to Tangier, stopping at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its impressive mosaics and ancient history.
Continue towards Tangier, visiting Hercules Caves and Cap Spartel if time permits. Lunch in Tangier before concluding the tour at the port.
