Day 1: Marrakech โ€“ High Atlas โ€“ Ait Benhaddou Kasbah โ€“ Ouarzazate โ€“ Dades Gorges

Our journey begins after breakfast, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass, offering panoramic views. We'll then travel south to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its stunning architecture and as a filming location for movies like Gladiator and The Mummy.

After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the 'city of Cinema' and home to a large solar power station. The name Ouarzazate means 'no noise'. We will also visit the Kasbah of the Glaoui, the former Pasha of Marrakech.

Our day concludes as we arrive in the Dades Gorges, where we will settle in for the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorges โ€“ Todra Gorges โ€“ Merzouga โ€“ Camel Trek and Overnight in Berber Camp

After breakfast, we head towards the desert. Our adventure today will introduce us to the desert climate and different local traditions. We will visit the impressive Todra Gorges and then move on to Tinjdad village, where you can shop for traditional items.

We will pass through Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and date market. Finally, we reach Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the desert.

Here, you will embark on a camel trek to witness the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in an equipped Berber camp, enjoying traditional drum music under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert โ€“ Nomads Families โ€“ Tisardmin Oasis โ€“ Khamlia โ€“ Erg Chebbi

We wake up early to see the sunrise and then ride our camels back to Merzouga for breakfast. Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga desert and its culture. We will visit a Berber house to learn about their way of life and traditions.

We will also visit Khamlia village to experience Gnawa music, which has its roots in Ghana and Sudan. You'll be welcomed with a traditional cup of tea. We will also explore mines, visit Berber nomads, and see a beautiful palm oasis.

You'll have the chance to climb the Erg Chebbi dune, which is over 250 meters high, either by camel, sandboard, or on foot. After a day full of adventure, we will check into a hotel for the night.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert โ€“ Ziz Valley โ€“ Cedar Forest โ€“ Fes

After breakfast, we ride our camels back to Merzouga. Our journey today takes us through small villages and Berber shops. We will visit the beautiful Ziz Valley, the longest oasis of palm trees in Morocco, known for its high-quality dates.

We will pass through the Tizi N Talghamt pass and stop in Midelt, a Berber town in the Middle Atlas with unique traditions and handicrafts, where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Midelt to Fes via Zaida โ€“ Timahdit โ€“ Azrou โ€“ Ifrane

After a delicious breakfast, we continue our journey to Fes. Along the way, we'll discover the old side of life in Morocco and the imperial cities. We will stop in Ifrane, known as the 'Switzerland of Morocco' for its unique climate and architecture.

Our next stop is Azrou, a beautiful Berber town where we can visit the Cedar Forest and see the Barbary monkeys. We will also see Berber horses and traditional clothing.

We will then continue to Fes, our final destination.
