Day 1: Marrakech โ€“ High Atlas โ€“ Ait Benhaddou Kasbah โ€“ Ouarzazate โ€“ Dades Gorges

Our journey begins after breakfast, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass, offering panoramic views. We'll then travel south to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its stunning architecture and as a filming location for movies like Gladiator and The Mummy.

After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the 'city of Cinema' and home to a large solar power station. The name Ouarzazate means 'no noise'. We will also visit the Kasbah of the Glaoui, the former Pasha of Marrakech.

Our day concludes as we arrive in the Dades Gorges, where we will settle in for the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorges โ€“ Todra Gorges โ€“ Merzouga โ€“ Camel Trek and Overnight in Berber Camp

After breakfast, we head towards the desert. Our adventure today will introduce us to the desert climate and different local traditions. We will visit the impressive Todra Gorges and then move on to Tinjdad village, where you can shop for traditional items.

We will pass through Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and date market. Finally, we reach Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the desert.

Here, you will embark on a camel trek to witness the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in an equipped Berber camp, enjoying traditional drum music under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert โ€“ Nomads Families โ€“ Tisardmin Oasis โ€“ Khamlia โ€“ Erg Chebbi

We wake up early to see the sunrise and then ride our camels back to Merzouga for breakfast. Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga desert and its culture. We will visit a Berber house to learn about their way of life and traditions.

We will also visit Khamlia village to experience Gnawa music, which has its roots in Ghana and Sudan. You'll be welcomed with a traditional cup of tea. We will also explore mines, visit Berber nomads, and see a beautiful palm oasis.

You'll have the chance to climb the Erg Chebbi dune, which is over 250 meters high, either by camel, sandboard, or on foot. After a day full of adventure, we will check into a hotel for the night.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert โ€“ Rissani โ€“ Erfoud โ€“ Todra Gorges to Dades Valley

After a comfortable night and Berber breakfast, we travel through numerous small villages and Berber shops. Our destination is Tinghir, where the Todra Gorges are located. This valley, with its towering mountains, is a popular spot for climbers.

It's a wonderful place to have lunch and enjoy the sound of the river. In the afternoon, we travel to explore the Dades Valley and Boumalne Dades, taking time to capture photos of the stunning scenery.

We will spend the night in a hotel in the Dades Gorges.

Day 5: Dades Valley โ€“ Kasbah Amridil โ€“Skoura โ€“ Ouarzazate โ€“ Ait Benhaddou Kasbah โ€“ Marrakech

After breakfast, we'll admire the fabulous mountain chains and discover some of the thousands of kasbahs in the area. We'll visit Kalaat M'gouna, the town of roses, and the Amridil Kasbah.

We then continue to Ouarzazate, the city of cinema, and visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This incredible fortress has been the backdrop for many international films.

Finally, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass to return to Marrakech, where the tour ends.
